Came this past weekend with my sister. Wasn’t there long but the time we did spend was relaxing. Everything is open, everyone is up and moving around, very fluid. Bartenders were cool and the atmosphere was welcoming. We had a few drinks. One was suggested, a rum and ginger beer mix, the other, a simple crown and coke. Both were good. Will be back soon!

Food is decent for bar food. Great selection of whiskies and even a small selection of absinthe. Small space, especially when there is a show or event, but no place goes harder when it comes to theme and ambiance.

We went to celebrate our friend birthday at the bar. The live music was amazing. The drink was good. Service was beautiful. We all had a great time here. Definitely one of the best bar to hang out with friends without worrying about anything.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (5 stars for entertainment, 1 star for logic) The Cove is less of a bar and more of a social experiment designed to answer the question: “What if every character in a sitcom was trapped in the same building with alcohol?” First, there’s Nick. Nick walks around like he’s the final boss in a vampire video game, but he’s really giving “regional manager of a vintage Hot Topic.” The curly mullet is a bold choice, and by bold, I mean it appears to have made the choice for him. Every retro t-shirt looks like it has survived at least three decades and two divorces. He projects Dark Lord energy but somehow also the energy of a guy who would immediately apologize to a house cat for being in its way. The cougar population seems oddly fascinated by him, which is proof that nature remains full of mysteries. Then we have Brandon. Nobody is entirely convinced Brandon is actually named Brandon. He has the hair of a luxury shampoo commercial and carries himself like he’s moments away from boarding a yacht in Monaco. Yet somehow he’s standing at The Cove. He speaks with the confidence of a man who has definitely used the word “curated” while discussing domestic beer. Respectfully, he’s one silk scarf away from becoming a witness in an international art fraud documentary. And then there’s Mikey. Sweet, glorious Mikey. The man’s a badass DJ who somehow manages to be both the soundtrack and the main character. His musical selections keep the place alive, and his booty deserves its own historical marker. Scientists should study it. Local government should protect it. The Cove should probably put it on the logo. Finally, Mary. Mary has enough Big Boss Energy to run a small nation. Unfortunately, she appears to use that power exclusively to reject feedback and terrify innocent menu suggestions. The menu reads like it was assembled during a power outage with no adult supervision. Every recommendation seems to enter a black hole from which no idea can escape. If confidence alone

If you are looking for a great place for good food and drinks with a friendly atmosphere and music this is the place for you. You are greeted by very friendly puppy dogs in a pirate ship setting. Live music at night. The food is So good that it makes you want to come back and try the other dishes. Tyler Holmes who works there was very friendly and a pleasure to meet. I enjoy going there meeting new people every time I visit ❤️

What a find!!! Nicholas was a wonderful tastebud tour guide! He walked me through the extensive cocktail menu. He was full of suggestions and helped us navigate the many different options. He was so kind he even gave us suggestions on local places to go listen to music. The vibe was a perfect combination of casual and approachable, but sprinkled with fancy cocktails that I definitely wouldn’t get at my neighborhood bar.
